Once upon a time there was a boy named Zac, he was 11 years old. He loved to play games on his XBOX. On days when he would go to school he would still play games on his device . Sometimes he would get caught and sometimes he wouldn't. When he came back home his dad goes to work and his mom would go to work too. Before they left, they would leave a note with chores and when they would come back home from work he hadn’t even finished his chores, all he did was play games. His mom and dad got sick of it.
It was a sunny morning his mom had cooked breakfast and his dad got ready for a interview then Zac got ready for school. When Zac was ready, Zac went to the kitchen so he can have breakfast. When Zac left home he noticed something really weird because his mom does make breakfast before. Zac ran back home as fast as he could. When he got there he saw his mom hiding Zacs XBOX ONE away. She said, your dad and I, have been working our heads off to get you a better education and what are you doing? ‘Nothing! so that is why I am taking it away.
Zac felt sorry, her walked back to school sad. When he got back home and his mom and dad were not at home. He looked at the table and saw a list of chores then Zac did all of his chores. He waited patiently for them to come back from work. When they arrived back home Zac said sorry to his mom and dad then Zac hugged his mom and dad and went to sleep so he would be ready for school the next day.
Hi Apolosi,
ReplyDeleteIt’s Leslie here, writing to you from Canada where it’s very cold and snowy. Hard for you to imagine, I’m sure! I’m a member of the Summer Learning Journey team and I notice that you've written a creative story about a little boy. I think you might really enjoy the activities in the Summer Learning Journey program because many of them invite you to be creative, writing a poem or story, making a poster or picture, or using your imagination. There are also activities that ask you to talk about your favourite foods and activities, and to talk about what you like about your home. There's lots of information about the unusual and unique animals that live in New Zealand and in other countries around the world. So cool and interesting!!!
There are still 3 full weeks left to participate in the Summer Learning Journey program called “The World Around Us”. Here’s the website address: www.summerlearningjourney.co.nz I hope you’ll take a look and try some of the activities. I’ll look for your postings and write back to you from Canada.
Meanwhile, have a really happy summer holiday!
Leslie
